Prilago ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, email address, company name, role, job title, and password when you create an account
• Interest Registration: Email address when you register interest for early access
• Payment Information: Billing details processed through secure third-party payment processors (we do not store credit card numbers directly)
• Uploaded Documents: Files you upload for document intelligence analysis. These documents are processed solely to provide the Service to you and are not shared with third parties or used for any other purpose
• Communications: Information you provide when contacting our support team, including chat logs, emails, and feedback
• Fundraising Pipeline Data: Investor names, deal stages, notes, and other pipeline data you enter into the fundraising OS

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, clicks, time spent on the platform, and interaction patterns
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preferences
• Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, error logs
• Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Session cookies for authentication, preference cookies, and analytics tracking (see Section 8)

1.3 Publicly Available LP Data

Important Distinction: The LP data displayed in the Service (commitment amounts, fund names, pension fund allocations, endowment data, etc.) is not personal data of our users. This data is compiled from publicly available government records, regulatory filings, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses, public board meeting minutes, published annual reports, and other public sources. This data is institutional in nature and relates to organizations (pension funds, endowments, foundations), not private individuals. The Company does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this publicly-sourced data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process transactions and manage your subscription
• Send you important updates about the Service (account notifications, security alerts, billing communications)
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Analyze usage patterns to improve our platform, features, and user experience
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, security threats, and fraud
• Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics about platform usage (no individual user is identifiable)

3. AI and Machine Learning Processing

The Service uses AI and machine learning technologies to provide features such as investor search, signal intelligence, and document analysis. In connection with these features:

• Your search queries may be processed by AI models to generate relevant results
• Uploaded documents may be analyzed using machine learning for data extraction
• AI-generated outputs are approximations and should not be treated as authoritative
• We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our AI models, but we will not use your individual confidential data to train models accessible to other users

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted third-party providers who assist in operating our platform (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery), bound by contractual confidentiality obligations and data processing agreements

We do not share, sell, or provide your personal data, uploaded documents, or pipeline data to any LP, investor, data broker, or third-party for their marketing purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• Secure authentication and access controls
• Regular security assessments and vulnerability monitoring
• Restricted employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
• Incident response procedures for data breach notification

WHILE WE STRIVE TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION, NO METHOD OF ELECTRONIC STORAGE OR TRANSMISSION IS 100% SECURE. WE CANNOT AND DO NOT GUARANTEE ABSOLUTE SECURITY. You acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk, and the Company, its founders, officers, and directors shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to, alteration of, or loss of your data except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or request data deletion:

• Account data is deleted within 30 days
• Uploaded documents are permanently deleted within 30 days
• Pipeline and fundraising data is deleted within 30 days
• Anonymized, aggregated usage analytics may be retained indefinitely for product improvement (no individual user is identifiable from this data)
• We may retain certain data as required by legal obligations, regulatory requirements, or to resolve disputes
• Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being automatically purged

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format

12. Limitation of Liability for Data

THE COMPANY, ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (A) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR DATA CAUSED BY THIRD-PARTY BREACHES; (B) ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR OMISSIONS IN PUBLICLY-SOURCED LP DATA; (C) ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON DATA PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE; OR (D) ANY FAILURE OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS TO ADEQUATELY PROTECT DATA.

This limitation of liability is in addition to, and not in lieu of, the limitations set forth in our Terms of Service.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification where feasible. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any changes, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Service.
